Visit your own private homeowners' beach a few minutes walk away. The lovely Chambers Landing and Meeks Bay public beaches are also nearby.

Downhill Skiing and Snowboarding:

Homewood Mountain Resort (Five minutes by car), Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley ski resorts
(20 minutes).

Nearby Homewood and Tahoe City offer many boutiques and shops, grocery stores, a movie theatre, and a variety of lakeshore eateries, including Chamber's Landing, the elegant West Shore Cafe, and picturesque Sunnyside Restaurant.

Gambling:

Five casinos line the north shore of Lake Tahoe, including the famed Cal-Neva Resort, once owned by Frank Sinatra. The South Shore casinos are 45 minutes away.
